My Philosophy

People often want to go to an expert to get their answers. But I believe that the answers you seek are already inside you. My clients are the true experts who just need someone to give them permission to access that part of themselves. As a coach, I help you remove your emotional roadblocks such as fear, negative self-talk, or old narratives, so you can live your most authentic life.

With a passion for helping others I began my career as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in 2007. During my time as a therapist, I felt immense joy and fulfillment witnessing my clients embrace change and growth. I wanted to help them succeed on the new paths they were discovering. So I decided to focus my practice on helping people live their most meaningful and authentic lives. In 2015 I obtained a Certified Professional Coach certification from iPEC (Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching). I call myself the “Fork in the Road Coach” because I specialize in facilitating decision-making in my clients.

What sets me apart from other coaches is that I have a thorough understanding of psychology and know what it takes to champion your needs. While I see the importance of psychotherapy, I also understand the value in helping people set their own goals and find inner strengths, which is the core philosophy of coaching.
